Our Charitable Commitment
blackcab.com guarantees a minimum annual contribution of £20,000 in total, to be shared among the four charities — continuing Barbara Harris' incredible work and dedication to the trade she loved.
Barbara was the inspiration behind the Unify London taxi app — a platform she envisioned with her husband, Micky, to unite the taxi trade while supporting charitable causes. Even during her battle with terminal breast cancer, Barbara remained deeply involved in voluntary work, including fundraising and travelling with the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans. Her passion and legacy now live on through blackcab.com, who have acquired Unify and are committed to honouring Barbara’s original vision of charitable contribution via a trade supported app.
