This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our services, in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and other applicable laws.

- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number and residential address.
- Driver Profile & Licensing Information: Taxi driver licence, vehicle registration details, proof of insurance, and right-to-work documentation (where applicable).
- Journey & Earnings Data: Pickup and drop-off locations, journey duration, fare amounts and any bonuses or incentives (where applicable).
- Payment & Banking Information: Bank account details for settlement, payment transaction history.
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, device type, app activity, and browser details.
- Location Data: Real-time location data when using our app, to enable trip matching and navigation.
- Customer Feedback & Ratings: Ratings and comments left by passengers.

14. SMS Messaging
We send SMS text messages to the mobile number you provide, for one purpose only: a one-time passcode to sign in to your blackcab.com driver account.
How you opt in. You opt in on the blackcab.com sign-in screen in the driver app for iOS or Android. You enter your own mobile number to create or access your account. Directly above the Send code button, and before any message is sent, the screen displays:

No message is sent unless you tap Send code.
What we send. Only one-time passcodes, for example:
Your blackcab.com verification code is 3456. Do not share this code. Reply STOP to opt out.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency. One message per sign-in attempt you initiate. There is no recurring or scheduled messaging.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. blackcab.com does not charge you for these messages; your mobile operator's standard rates apply.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving SMS from that number. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. Reply START to opt back in.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your data. We collect your mobile number to send you sign-in passcodes and to operate your account. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
