1. Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Black Cab Limited (“the Company”) (formerly Unify London Taxis Ltd) has taken and will continue to take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.

Unify London Taxis Ltd was incorporated in 2022 and was purchased by Black Cab Limited in May 2025. The Company is committed to conducting its business responsibly, ethically, and with integrity. We recognise that modern slavery and human trafficking are grave violations of human rights and we have zero tolerance for such practices within our operations or the operations of our partners and suppliers.

2. Our Business and Structure

Black Cab Limited operates as a transportation technology platform, connecting licensed black cab drivers with passengers in the United Kingdom. We do not employ drivers but provide a digital service to facilitate lawful and regulated transport services.

Our company operates in the United Kingdom, and our supply chain includes software service providers, marketing and promotional suppliers, hardware and telecoms providers, and administrative services.

3. Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery does not occur in any part of our business or our supply chain. Our commitments include:

  • Reviewing internal processes and external partnerships to identify and mitigate risks of forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking.
  • Including modern slavery clauses in supplier contracts where appropriate.
  • Working only with suppliers who uphold the same ethical standards.
  • Providing training and raising awareness among key staff about modern slavery risks and compliance obligations.

4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

We conduct due diligence when onboarding suppliers and service providers. This includes:

  • Verifying the legitimacy and ethical standards of new suppliers.
  • Assessing potential risks based on the nature of services, geographic location, and the sector.
  • Engaging with trusted partners and requesting confirmation that they too comply with the Modern Slavery Act.

Given our size and the nature of our operations, we assess our overall risk to be low. However, we remain vigilant and proactive in monitoring any emerging risks.

5. Training and Awareness

We will provide ongoing guidance and resources to relevant staff and partners to help them:

  • Recognise signs of modern slavery.
  • Understand reporting procedures for concerns.
  • Appreciate the importance of transparency and responsible sourcing.

6. Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone — whether an employee, supplier, or contractor — to report concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation via our contact form or by emailing [email protected].

7. Review and Monitoring

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary. As we grow and evolve, our practices will be adapted to ensure continued compliance and ethical conduct.
